KeyKraft uses the information you provide to manage your account, save your designs and prepare your custom keycap orders.
Accounts and Google sign-in
When you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your account identifier, basic profile information (such as your name and profile picture) and email address with our authentication provider, Clerk. We use this information to authenticate you and associate your account with your designs and orders. We request only basic identity, email and profile access, not access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files or contacts. KeyKraft does not receive your Google password.
You can also create an account with a username, email address and password. Clerk manages authentication, email verification, password recovery and session security. Existing customers may explicitly link their previous KeyKraft account to carry over saved designs and access.
Designs, orders and reviews
We store the artwork you upload, including original image files and generated previews, your selected keyboard and keys, keycap colours, quantities, and saved designs. Order requests include the contact and delivery details you enter. The KeyKraft administrator can access order information and download artwork to make your keycaps and manage your order. Original photos may contain embedded metadata; remove any metadata you do not want to share before uploading.
If you submit a review, its display name, rating and review text are visible to other visitors. Artwork and order contact details are not included in public reviews.
Service providers and storage
Clerk processes account and session information. The website uses OpenAI Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure for website delivery, database and artwork storage. These providers process information needed to operate and secure their services, which may include technical information such as IP addresses and request logs. Provider processing may occur outside Canada.
Google account information is used for sign-in and account functionality, not sold or used for advertising. We do not publish your uploaded artwork through the review feature. Artwork is available through account-restricted routes and the administrator's order tools.
Cookies and browser storage
Sign-in uses session cookies. Your browser also stores your shopping bag and design state so you can continue working. Clearing browser storage may remove unsaved work. Authentication and hosting providers may use cookies needed to deliver and secure their services.
Your choices and requests
You can manage your Clerk account through the account menu and revoke Google's connection in your Google Account settings. Revoking Google access does not automatically delete previously saved designs or orders. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information. Account, artwork and order records remain stored until removed; some order records may need to be retained for order handling or applicable recordkeeping requirements.
